Define the Problem

Children's Hospital Colorado tasked us with the challenge of developing a children's toy that meets the following criteria:

1. ​Teaches a S.T.E.A.M. concept (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math)
2. Is easily sterilized
3. Self contained system (no free parts)
4. Designed for a child between 4-10 years old
5. Can be used for approximately 5 years
6. Easily handled by a bed ridden child (dimensions less than 10"x12"x4" and 3lbs)
7. ​Incorporates art and is fun to play with!
